We are excited to share that our 3rd baby is a boy. We found out during our NT scan. We kept referring to the baby as "he" so the technician asked us if we wanted to know the sex. We were elated to find out so early and not waste months wondering.
Before we found out, my hubby who doesn't have any brothers told me that he always wished for a house full of boys so that they would have each other. After 2 amazing boys, he thought a third boy would just be icing on the cake (man and their obsession with having boys). What a gift it would be (his actual words). Me on the other hand was thinking after 2 boys how perfect would it be to add a little girl to our tribe. Either way it was a win win for our family
From the beginning of this pregnancy, I was so sure we were having a boy. Though I was hoping for a girl, I realized that this pregnancy was just way too similar to my other boys.
We decided to look at boys name right away. We love strong names that have some sort of a meaning whether it's a family or a biblical connection. We also want short names because our kids get 4 names altogether. We couldn't possibly couple that with a long name, that would be torture when they fill out their SAT applications one day.
We've thrown around a few names but noting really caught our eye. Then I found Nathaniel and I was instantly in love with the name and its meaning. I sent it to my husband who also loved it but thought it was too long. How about Nathan he said. Sold and sold.
Our 3rd boy's name will be Nathan - gift from God, rewarded. Perfect and so fitting for our 3rd boy don't you think?
We can't wait to meet our newest gift. We thank God everyday for this and all our sweet blessings.
