We had an awesome father's day weekend around here. We were busy running around but it was awesome because the boys had an awesome time. On Saturday we went to a party, they had a sprinkler and we brought the water gun with us; that was a recipe for a successful Saturday. On Sunday we enjoyed some brunch at home then met up with a friend before going to see my mom and grandma.
Let me tell you about my hubby, all he wanted to do all weekend was watch his soccer games since the World Cup just started. Since it was Father's day weekend, I indulged but let me tell you how annoying it is to have to rearrange all of our schedules around this world cup business. I didn't really fight him this weekend but I won't be going down without a fight. On Saturday, I took the big boys with me to the party while hubby stayed at home with Bean. Divide and conquer is still our best practice.
Me and my Jbird before we left for the party, he is still attached to my hip like a baby (I guess he is still my little baby after all)
I bribed Tman to get in on the picture. Me and my big boys
Jbird always makes crazy faces, I was going in for a big kiss here and I am so happy hubby captured this sweet moment with my Jbird.
The birthday party was awesome. My friends have this huge backyard, they set up a little sprinkler system and just let the kids run around. All the kids played around the sprinkler and enjoyed every minute of it.
Tman had a water gun and did not wait to put it to good use
My boys playing around
After all the water play, we changed the kids into some dry clothes but all they wanted to do was continue to run around outside. Hard not to indulge with such an awesome backyard
The moms hanging out in the backyard. Check out my friend K who is ready to pop, she is probably giving birth to her precious daughter (4th child) as we speak.
The kids created their own game like this one using shields.
My Tman is hilarious I tell you
The birthday party was awesome. I am glad that I took the big boys and did not stress hubby to come with us. Father's day was another busy day, I swear I don't know how not to be busy running around. I asked hubby what he wanted and he said just a chill day watching the world cup games. Easy enough if you ask me. I tried to take a photo op of him and the kids and he said all he wanted is not to have to pose for pics, get dressed up and all that. Thank goodness it's not Father's day every day :).
So here we are, no prep, no makeup, no hair done, just us and our little Bean selfie style at my hubby's request. I must say I really love this pic
We had brunch with hubby's parents and the boys. After that I went to meet up with my friend C who was in town with her newest addition. She lives in Indianapolis so we don't get to see her that often so any chances I get I take. It was so nice to catch up and spend some time together.
Me and C with our littlest blessings 3.5 months and 2 months; We have been making babies together since 2010 :)
We attempted to take a picture with all the kids and C's sister who is pregnant with her 1st baby but it was a total fail. I just love that all the kids were so not interested in our photo op I mean Jbird is riding a car on my face.
After hanging out with C, I took the kids to my parents house. I always make an effort to go to my parents house every Sunday so that my mom and grandma can hang out with the kids. We got this awesome pic with everyone (except my grandma). Good time, good times.
Well, that was our Father's day weekend in a nutshell. We had loads of fun and a great time hanging out with everyone. I hope you had a great Father's day celebration.
Married to the love of my life, mom to three boys and a girl, loving every minute of this crazy life with my crew

A Sleepover
My nephew was visiting from Canada for a few weeks. My cousin recently moved to Ottawa and we miss them so much already. My nephew and Tman are only 6 weeks apart and are the best of friends. We got to spend a few days with him while he was here and the boys totally enjoyed their time together. We only get to see him about twice a year now so we definitely make the most of every visit.
Before I tell you all about that sleepover, let me tell you about my hubby and his soccer. The boy is obsessed. There is always some sort of soccer cup or whatever but every 4 years there is this thing called the world cup. OMG, my hubby is crazy during that time. The world cup just started and I am already over it. We are team Cameroon, team England, and team America. With 3 countries that we are rooting for, I am hoping one of them goes far.
Cameroon was playing on Friday so of course hubby and Tman had to wear their jerseys. It didn't bring us any luck but they clearly had fun with it.
Tman always gets a soccer jersey from English family members when they travel places. This one is a set from the Netherlands. How adorable are my big boys
Speaking of big boys, I am loving that they are big enough to sit at the kitchen island now. I can feed them breakfast while prepping food for the day or whatever else I do on the island.
Anyway, I digress, back to the sleepover story. My nephew and Tman showing off their stickers
I love this picture that hubby took even though it's blurry. The boys all joined us in bed in the morning (well Tman spent the night with us). Check out Bean smiling in his sleep
My brother J came over to spend time with the boys and they had a ball. The boys chasing uncle J around the house
Wrestling with uncle J as you do
Then we went outside to play with the water guns, the boys were in heaven.
Jbird was a little confused but uncle J was there to help him
Tman and my nephew had a ball
They were having loads of fun I tell you
Going after Jbird who didn't know what was hitting him
Jbird got in on the action with the help of uncle J
It was pure happiness from the big boys as they ran around squirting each other
After water play, we gave the boys a bath and they continued to wrestle with uncle J
After a late lunch, the boys passed out and took a 2-hour nap
The next day we were just chilling and I couldn't help snapping this picture of all my boys chilling. Hubby on the computer and the kiddos watching cartoons.
Tman is always so protective of Bean, I love it. Check out Bean sitting next to his brother like such a big boy.
The boys had an awesome time with my nephew during their sleepover. I want to do these all the time. They say the best gift you can give your child is the gift of a sibling, I truly think so. We had an awesome time on our sleepover and I look forward to many more sleepovers.

Weekend fun - Hodge podge
We live for the weekend around here now that hubby and I are both back at work full time. The week just seems to fly by and as soon as the weekend gets here it's time to unwind and relax. Somehow I always seem to find things for us to do. I know, I am crazy. I do try not to schedule more than 2 events per weekend and I try not to bring all 3 kids if we can help it.
We were celebrating my friend K's sprinkle, she is having her 4th baby. That girl is a trooper I tell you. The coolest part is that after 3 amazing boys she is having a little girl. We totally had to celebrate of course. I am so happy to be surrounded by friends who want to have big families like we do, our kids are going to have loads of built in friends :).
I left hubby at home with the big boys and took Bean with me to the sprinkle. Divide and conquer is still our motto. When I left they were getting ready for a nap, check the boys out with their milk in front of the TV. Life is good for some.
Bean was the life of the party, everybody wanted to get their hands on him
He was so good the whole time and just chilled
This is such a funny pic, we were told to do something crazy and that's all we could come up with :)
And of course the group shot. We are so excited to welcome baby girl C in a few weeks
When we got home, hubby got to chill with Bean while I hung out with my big boys. Check out my little man napping with his dad, such a rolly polly. I am pretty sure he looks like he weighs more than hubby :).
Speaking of my little man, these are not from the weekend but I so love them. Hubby's parents took a lot of pictures of the boys during the week and I am so loving these.
Look at my Bean trying to sit up like a big boy
And of course Jbird is the funny kid around here. So adorable my middle child
Hubby with Tman and Jbird
Hubby handling the grill like it's his business
The meat was so good, I love me some grilled meat
While we were chilling inside, the boys played with their dad while watching some cartoon.
I obviously had to take a pic with my boys who were clearly not interested. I love that Bean is part of the matching crew. I know, I am totally addicted to matching my boys
Another great weekend was had by all. The sprinkle for K was awesome and the day of rest on Sunday was even better. I think that's what I need to do, a day of fun followed by a day of rest that way I am not so tired and can take on the week like I own it. I hope that you had a great weekend too.

Grandma with Bean, so much love
Now that the weather is nice, grilling season is in full effect. We pretty much grill every Sunday. We throw some chicken, steak, or ribs on there and make enough for lunch the next day. The boys usually come outside with us while we are grilling, they love to be outside my boys I tell you.Hubby with Tman and Jbird

Bean is 3 months
I know I say this every time but man how is it possible that my little Bean is already 3 months. Insane I tell you, insanely good. Time is surely flying by when you are having a lot of fun. Bean is getting bigger and bigger but also more alert and active. He still hates tummy time but we make him do it anyway. He is already so strong.
We are lucky enough to have hubby's parents watch Bean at home full time. I know we are blessed. The plan is to have them watch Bean until he is 1 then send him to daycare. My grandma watched both Tman and Jbird until they were 1. This amazing family support system is the reason why we keep popping these babies :). I digress.
My super happy go lucky Bean. He has an infectious smile and the most kissable cheeks and lips
When the baby cries Tman always volunteers to feed him. I did let him for this photo op and let me tell you he was so proud.
Bean doing tummy time with granddad. I just love this pic
I did take a million pictures of my Bean for his 3-month shoot. He made the best faces this kid. He could barely sit in the chair and kept falling and every time I put him back up he made a different face, that's my boy.
Ahhhh, those cheeks, love love love
Tman, my little helper, was taking pics with me with the small camera. Then it was selfie time, my big boy knows how to take selfies you guys. When did he get so big and grown. I wish you could see more of Tman's face, he was giggling away and so proud of himself.
Happy 3 months to my sweet baby Bean, though he is not a little Bean anymore he will always be my 3rd son. Bean is such a dream baby, eats like a champ, fusses only when he needs something, sleeps peacefully, and smiles all day long. We love you to the moon and back son, thank you for joining our family.
I gotta try to keep up with these updates as I did with Jbird. I am trying hard to fight the 3rd child syndrome here :).

He also has a serious face, check him out trying not to fall. Gosh my baby is getting so big
Bean is my best eater yet. That says a lot since the other boys were pretty good too. Nursing has been a breeze this time around. I only have to pump 3 times a day and I just nurse him the remainder of the time. No wonder my Bean is a rolly polly. He weighed in at 16 lbs, wowza. He is my biggest baby yet, only a few ounces over Jbird but a few ounces nonetheless. I just love all his rolls, those beautiful brown eyes, and those awesome cheeks
Bean is also my best sleeper at this stage. Tman and Jbird did not sleep more than 4 hours uninterrupted until they were 6 months. Guess who actually slept for 5 hours uninterrupted the past few days, this baby. My peaceful sleeping Bean
Tman and Jbird are so in love with their brother. They always want him to be near them when we do anything like have a picnic for dinner even if Bean is sleeping.
Tman showers this little man with kisses all day. When I put Bean on the chair to do his photoshoot, Tman ran and gave him kisses. When the baby cries Tman always volunteers to feed him. I did let him for this photo op and let me tell you he was so proud.
