My little beanie baby is 9 months. I am loving this age so much, he is alert, aware and responsive. He knows us and we definitely know him :). He started clapping, waving, saying mama this month. Though he doesn't know what any of that means and he does it all by accident, we are loving that he is so much more active.
Bean's biggest milestone this month is that he is now able to stand up all by himself for more than a few seconds. The first time he did it was hilarious, he couldn't believe it and the look on his face said it all. He is now a champion at it and I know it won't be long until he is running after his brothers.
I was able to get some pics of him standing but he was not a happy camper. Oh well, mama still got her picture :). I present to you my adorable 9-month old, standing all by himself (no worries, he was smiling away a few minutes after this.)
Bean loves to stand so much that he does it all the time all over the house. He crawls everywhere until he finds something to hold onto and he pulls up.
Look at me mom, I can stand by myself
Oh and I totally love it too :)
Behind that happy smiles are 7 teeth, yes you heard that right 7. five of them are completely out of the gums and 2 are coming out. How can he have so many teeth already? Luckily for me he is not a biter and still nurses well. Good job beanie man
Let's zoom in on that sweet pic and you can see most of those teeth on display. Such a happy baby my little Bean
The big boys are still so in love with their little brother. Tman is holding Bean's face so that he could look at the camera. Such a great big brother my Tman. Jbird was not interested here but he usually likes to play with Bean too :)
Bean following his brothers around the house pulling up everywhere as he does
Tman is always teaching Bean and showing him how to do stuff
Bean still nurses like a champ and we are doing well in that department. We made it to our milestone of 9 months and now we are going for the homestretch. I am aiming to continue pumping until 1 at which point I will solely nurse. I enjoy nursing and plan to let Bean decide when he wants to stop like I did with his big brothers.
The worst thing in the life of a nursing mom happened this week though, I lost all my frozen milk. I totally cried over spilled milk. The compressor on our fridge died and since we don't use this fridge often everything melted in the freezer. When I came down to add more milk and saw this mess, I just cried like a baby.
All my hard work gone in an instant, 130 bags of pumped breast milk gone just like that :(
Hubby was nice enough to get rid of it for me, he was feeling bad for me. The silver lining here for me is that I make enough milk to feed my baby and really this was just a backup.
I don't want to end my Bean's 9-month update on a negative note so I have to share this sweet pic of me and my boy. He figured out how to kiss and though he only open mouth kisses right now, it's the sweetest and nicest thing.
Happy 9 months my little Bean, we are so happy to have you in our lives. Thank you for making our lives so much sweeter. We love you to the moon and back.
Look at bean! Too cute! He's standing already!
ReplyDeleteI want to cry for you with that milk. Yikes. Good thing you have a good supply. You have the right attitude. Love the last picture!!!
Awww, sorry about the milk. But you right about looking on the bright side, you have a good supply :). Bean is growing so fast. It feels like just the other day we were celebrating the same milestone with Jbird. Crazy I tell you.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I would have cried, too. That was a lot of time and energy making all that milk. Luckily there's more where that came from.
ReplyDeleteBean is so adorable even when he's not happy. I loved the kiss at the end, too... :)
That last pic is so adorable. On another note, thats alot of milk.
ReplyDeleteI would have cried too! Oh girl I am SO sorry about that!! On the plus side the boys look as adorable as ever!!!
