#Project MILF - Introduction and goals

When two of my favorite bloggers TOI and Mrs Pancakes teamed up to start #ProjectMilf 2013 I knew I wanted to participate. Motivating Inspiring Leading Female, what more can I say, I was sold.

My name is Pegster and I am the face behind this blog
I have been married for 3.5 years to this handsome man
We are proud parents to this little guy who is 2.5 years
and this big baby who is almost 6 months
I am a working mom to these two adorable faces
When I heard about project milf, I was so psyched because not only do I want to motivate myself, I definitely want to motivate and inspire others. I also figured this would be a great way to keep myself accountable through this journey.

Goal #1 - Get my pre-baby body back
Before I got pregnant with my Tman, I used to look like this (August 2009) 130lbs and toned
Then I had 2 kids and I now look like this (October 2012, 2 months post partum) 145lbs and not toned
I am glad of the progress I made post baby and though things look somewhat flat they are not quite toned. My goal is to lose the extra 10lbs and tone things up by this Summer.

Goal #2 - Grow my hair back healthier and stronger
Before post partum shedding wreaked havoc on my hair a few months ago, my hair used to look like this (September 2012, 1 month post partum)

Then the crazy hair loss happened and my hair now looks like this (January 2013, 5 months post partum)

The goal is to grow my edges back so that my hairline actually looks normal again and I can actually do buns if I wanted to. I would love to get the added bonus of length in the process.

So those are my goals. Join us in this journey and share your goals. Project Milf is in full effect.

  7. You're gorgeous, and I think you look fantastic postpartum!!! Keep on working toward your goals! I heard that it is easy for young mothers to forget themselves, so I love that you are thinking about YOU too!

I can't personally vouch for it, but people swear by using castor oil for growth. It is very sticky though. Maybe try that on your edges?

    Wishing you all the best!!!!

  17. Staying fit and healthy should be on top of everyone's list of goals each year. And it's great that you're making it one of your highest priorities then. Not only in terms of your body health, but with your hair as well. Fortunately, there are a lot of solutions and treatments for hair loss nowadays that you can look into. One just has to find the best one that suits their needs. Good luck, and I hope Project MILF was a success!
