I heart long weekends

I definitely love long weekends particularly now that I am back at work. The week just seems to go on forever and I just look forward to chilling and relaxing at home with my boys. Thanks to our veterans for this special day. We had no plans this weekend, thank goodness. We spent the whole weekend hanging out, watching movies, and sleeping. Perfect weekend plans if you ask me :). Since we didn't do much, I just took a gazillion pictures of my boys hanging out.

Well hello there big boy, my Jbird is just growing and growing everyday
Tman holding his brother's hand and smiling big for the camera. Such a great big brother
Tman sharing his Elmo video with Jbird, he just loves hanging out with his brother

And who can resist this sweet baby face with awesome cheeks and beautiful brown eyes? No one I am sure
Tman is always showering his brother with kisses. He is saying goodbye here in the morning
Telling his daddy to get Jbird and take him to the car
Kissing Jbird's feet. Tman is always loving on his brother and that makes my heart explode with joy
Look who is holding his head and hanging out on the bumbo. He doesn't last long but we have to start somewhere
Of course everything Jbird does Tman has to do. The minute I got Jbird off the bumbo he ran and sat in it. Such a funny kid
I washed my hair this weekend and I definitely hate washing my hair these days. I lose so much hair every time it's a surprise I still have any hair left on my head. I loathe you post partum hair loss. Luckily I have a beautiful baby which makes all this bearable. I am not kidding when I tell you it's a handful, this is just from detangling after the wash. Ugh?!?
I got inspired by my blog friend Kathy to start meal planning and try out new recipes. Since we had plenty of time this weekend, I decided to try a recipe I found on this awesome blog (www.letsdishrecipes.com). It's a chicken with mustard cream sauce, a delicious and easy meal if you ask me. I made the chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans (I actually grilled the green beans). Hubby's plate is the one with less vegetable. He is worse than a kid when it comes to eating his vegetable.
Another great weekend in our household. What did you do with your long weekend? Hope you had loads of fun.

  2. The boys are adorable. I'm not looking forward to the post-partum shedding. I've had it before along my edges. We didn't get today off. But I'm taking thursday off for my birthday, so I'll have a 4 day weekend, along with next week for Thanksgiving Holiday.

  4. As always, the boys are so cute!

Yikes on the shedding. I will have to be on the lookout for it. Is it only when you wash? Or do you get that much when you comb as well?
