A fun day of golf

Hubby's weekend was at the beginning of October and all he wanted to do for his birthday was play a little game of golf. There is an awesome driving range not far from us that also serves food and drinks. We made plans to go the day after his birthday but then the worst rain ever happened that weekend. We decided to reschedule. Our crazy busy weekends prevented us from celebrating until a two weekends ago.

You know how we make everything a production around here. We packed up everyone and turned this into an afternoon of golf and fun with the whole clan. We spent the afternoon, eating, drinking and hitting golf balls. The boys loved every minute of it, Jbird fell asleep as soon as we put him in the car, Tman, Bean and my niece were really into it too, and the rest of the girls just enjoyed watching from the sidelines.

Jbird woke up a few minutes before we left so I let him hit a few balls

 I of course managed to get a group picture of all of us before we left, I love my crew

Our golf outing was such a great success. We are thinking of coming back more often in the Spring when the weather is nice again since the kids really enjoyed themselves too. I am just glad that we were able to do something fun for hubby during his birth month.
