Celebrating 4th of July

What a great 4th of July celebration we had this year. We were in Denver for my BFF's wedding and she had a BBQ planned at her house. It was such a nice get together and the weather was perfect. We spent the morning in the pool with the kids before heading to D for the celebration. It was such a great time.

Before getting to the BBQ, we had an awesome trip with the kids. I was really worried because that's what I do best but everything worked out so perfectly in the end. We flew into Denver the night before and though our flight was delayed, the kids did amazing and everything went on without a hitch.

This is how the boys fell asleep, they were so tired they passed out as soon as we got to the hotel. I love watching my boys sleep

The next day we went to the pool and had a blast. My mom was there so she took a lot of really good pictures of us hanging out with the kids in the pool. Gotta love having your own personal babysitter and photographer, my mom rocks I tell you.

Poor Jbird was so tired that he passed out by 7pm. That's why I always take a family pic before we do anything, I missed my opportunity and I ended up not having one. Oh well, there's always next year. Tman had loads of fun with the other kids though

We had a blast celebrating the 4th of July this year. I just love that it was like a mini reunion as we got to see friends that we don't get to see often anymore. The weather was absolutely perfect, we couldn't have asked for more. Hope you had a great 4th of July celebration too.
