Travel plans this year

You guys, we just booked most of our trips for this year and I must say I am giddy with excitement. We love to travel and though we now have 3 kids, we don't want to stop doing what we love. This year we won't be heavily pregnant or have a small baby so travel plans are in full mode. Our travel plans are coming together nicely and I can't help but squeal for all the fun things 2015 has in store for us.

In April, we are planning a trip to Cancun, Mexico. It will be a family trip with my mom, hubby's parents and probably one of my brothers joining the 5 of us. I am so psyched about this trip because it will be our first family vacation (since Bean was born) where all we are going to do is relax. We will also be celebrating my birthday :) :). I am so excited. I cant' wait to finally introduce Jbird and Bean to the beach. We will be staying at the Dreams Cancun resort. It is a beautiful all inclusive resorts with plenty of activities for both adults and kids.

I mean, check out this beauty
We get to spend a week in this place
I absolutely wanted an infinity pool and I got one
How cool is this kid's club
Three months later in July, we are going to Riviera Maya, Mexico to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. I can't even believe that in 6 months we will be celebrating 6 years of marriage. Insanely good I tell you. We are going on this trip without the kids, family support is the best. A few of our close friends have actually decided to join us so it's going to be a super fun trip. We will be staying at the Grand mayan in Riviera Maya.

We are staying at this awesome place for a week without the kids :)
Pretty amazing I know
We'll get to chill at this tropical paradise at night
After two tropical vacations back to back I am not going to know what to do with myself.

In September, we are planning to go to Texas to visit my friend Melissa who just moved there last July. She lives in Austin and I have never been to Austin so this is going to be an awesome trip. We are taking the kids with us and turning this into a family vacation. I am so psyched because I love traveling with my kiddos. We are also going to visit hubby's cousins who live in Houston, ahhhhh. We'll make this a 10-day long trip where we fly into Austin spent some time with Melissa, rent a car and drive to Houston spent time with hubby's family, then fly home from there.

Hubby with Melissa during her last visit in December
We've been hanging out with hubby's cousin all over the world (literally) it will be nice to hang out with them in their new place in Houston.

Hanging out with hubby's cousin at Lake Louise in Canada when Tman was barely a year old
Hanging out with hubby's cousin in Houston with Tman and Jbird when I was pregnant with Bean
Hanging out with hubby's cousin in England with Bean last November
Travel plans are in full effect and I am so excited about all the things that we have planned. We love to travel and we've vouch to continue traveling with our kids. I am loving that the kids are getting bigger and will hopefully remember all these wonderful adventures with their parents. Do you plan your trips way ahead of time like us? Do you travel with your kids?

Weekend fun - A tea party

This past weekend was so much fun. We didn't do much but chill and it was glorious. On Sunday, hubby's parents hosted a tea party complete with crumpets and such and it was grand. They invited my family over for some English goodness. We all got together right before the game and spent the afternoon drinking tea and mingling. That's my kind of hang out right there.

Since we got our hair done and even put some makeup on our faces on Sunday, I convinced my mom to take a few selfies with me in the car when we got to hubby's parents house. She indulged because she is fun like that my mommy.

My new favorite picture of me and my mommy. People always tell us we look like sisters :)
Check out my mom ready to go. I know she is hot :). I hope to be just like her when I grow up
When we got to hubby's parents house, everyone was chilling watching the game while waiting for the tea and crumpets to be ready. Check out our families hanging out in the family room
And of course a close up of hubby and Tman chilaxing
I love this picture where I am holding my two babies (Bean who is 10 months and Jbird who is 28 months). Jbird should be a big boy but he loves to act like a baby. It's ok because I don't mind.
The boys playing with grandad. I love that you can edit pictures right from the Iphone and even add a filter, pretty cool huh. I know, I just joined the 21st century and this stuff is still pretty exciting to me.
The tea party was so good these two fell asleep on the couch when we were done. I love sleeping pictures of hubby with the boys
The rest of the pictures are some of my favorite random pictures from the weekend. We didn't do much but I always take a gazillion pictures of my boys doing random stuff.

Me and my baby taking pictures in the mirror. It's not the best picture of me but I am loving my baby's smile on this one. Look at all the paint on his shirt. I had to crop myself out of this gem :)
I love this picture of Bean, he has the best smile I tell you. Bean is such a sweet baby, he just has a great, happy go lucky personality. He definitely takes after his mommy :). By the way,  I can't get over his head full of hair and mouth full of teeth at a mere 10 months.
This is another picture I love. Tman and Jbird fight all the time but they also love each other so much. They are always hugging and I was so happy to catch this sweet moment
Talk about a sweet moment, check out Tman and Jbird passed out in our bed. They fell asleep in there and just slept the whole night. We didn't want to move them so we just let them sleep in the bed. In the morning they were all cuddled up. How sweet are these two.
The boys were painting on Friday night as you do and Bean decided to join in on the fun. The mess that followed I tell you. At least they all had fun despite getting paint everywhere.
And in closing this post I give you another selfie I took with my mom on Sunday. Please don't be blinded by our smiles :)
Another great weekend was had by all. 2015 is off to a good start, quality time with family and friends are my favorite things to do and I plan to do plenty of that. Hope you all had a great weekend too.

Bean is 10 months and walking

Happy 10 months to my baby Bean, he is such a joy this baby of ours. We celebrated his first ever Christmas. Did you see how I am trying to hold on to Christmas forever :). All of our Christmas decorations are down so this was a great trip down memory lane for me.

Bean is doing so well in every department. He is a great nurser, will eat anything we offer him, sleeps ok (but that's normal in our household), interacts well with others, smiles for every and any reason, and only really cries when he needs something. He is my easiest baby you guys (I think being the 3rd has something to do with it) and I will probably jinx myself for saying that.

On Christmas day, I put him Bean in front of the tree and took a few pictures of him in his Santa suit. He looked so good and was so adorable (I know, I am so biased) that I couldn't resist.

My own personal little Santa
Whenever you sing to him, he starts to dance. This is him doing his dance move
Smiling at his brothers
Speaking of his brothers, they are still so in love with him. Tman is a complete protector, he even sometimes puts pillows behind Bean  if he thinks he might fall. How sweet is that? Jbird is finally getting so good with him, offering him milk or a toy when he cries. I am so happy that we are here.

My 3 sons on Christmas morning. Bean is always trying to take things away from Jbird :). I so love these boys of mine.
And I couldn't resist posting this picture of me and my crew. I love that Tman and Jbird were just laughing hysterically while my Bean was just chilling as he does.
Bean is now walking all over the place. We are so proud of this baby, he took his first steps at 9 months and hasn't looked back. He still holds on to things here and there but he can get anywhere on his two little feet. He is so fun to watch

Bean got his first tricycle this Christmas. I am so excited that he now has a bike like his brothers. Once the weather is nice, we can all go outside and ride.
Bean did a test drive of the trike in the house with grandma, we think he loves it :)
Right after Christmas, Bean got sick and it was horrible. My always happy energetic baby was now unhappy and uncomfortable. Turns out he had a double ear infection and RSV. He was put on antibiotics and within a few days he was back to being smiley and happy. I am one happy mama. We go back to the pediatrician next week to check on his ears but given how happy he is right now, I am sure everything is going to be ok.

Check out Bean feeling much better and smiling. He was being so playful with hubby that I couldn't help but snap a few pictures

Bean trying to eat his daddy's nose
Hubby trying to make Bean smile. These two are so sweet together.
I asked them to smile for the camera and this is what I got, they are hilarious
I am closing Bean's update with a picture of him opening Christmas presents. It's only fitting since this was his 1st Christmas.
Happy 10 months my sweet baby Bean, we love having you in our lives and are thankful for your awesome personality. I better start planning your first birthday party.

How we spent the rest of 2014

Thank you all for all the well wishes for the new year. 2015 is here, a blank canvas for us to paint :). I am so excited for all the things that 2015 has in store for us, hopefully all great. I am especially looking forward to all the trips we have planned.

Anyway, let me recap the rest of 2014 so that we can close the door on that awesome year. The day after Christmas is a huge deal in England. They call it boxing day and it's a day full of soccer.  Hubby's parents had us over to watch the multitude of games. Hubby made me laugh so hard because he put all of our Arsenal shirts down and said today is my day to get us all in matching outfit :). I of course indulged, I will never say no to matching with my family.

We are team Arsenal, what what
Hubby and his mom, I love this picture of them
The boys were in on the action too. They got to open more presents from grandma and grandad and they loved it.
The house bustling with love and laughter. I so love the holidays
We got some awesome gifts too
I know right :), everyone loves to see us in matching outfits
Attempting a family picture, total fail but I love this bunch :)
We played cards too and it was so much fun
While the kids were napping, hubby and I had fun on the couch taking pictures :). Really I was taking pictures while hubby was trying to watch the game.
After hanging out with my favorite crew, I went to dinner with the girls. My friend C was visiting from Indiana with her family so it was nice to get away just us girls and catch up on life without the kids.
We hung out with C a few more times before she left. It was so much fun to catch up with her and her brood. While we were hanging out one of the days, Bean started chewing on a chicken bone like he was a professional. That's my boy
On the last visit, we managed to get a picture with all of our 6 kids. C and I have been having babies a few months apart since 2010. It was not an easy feat getting 6 kids 4 and under to perform for the camera  but I must say we were successful :).
I don't want to let go of Christmas even though it's behind us. Me and my Bean hanging out at hubby's parents before the tree went down this past weekend. I guess there's always next year for more Christmas stuff.
New Year's eve was spent at our house hanging out with our family. It was actually nice not having to go out and try to hang out with a bunch of stranger. We sat in our sweats at home had a great dinner then played some card games until it was time for champagne :)

 Aunt K and Bean
 Grandma and Jbird
Ready to pop the champagne and ring in the new year :).
We spent the rest of the first days of 2015 just chilling and relaxing and it felt good. We needed to get caught up on sleep and relaxation.

Check out Jbird chilling over here while we were at hubby's parents house
Tman sat with me while the other two were roaming around (kinda). I love that you can see all the kids in this picture (sorta).
We had such an awesome time celebrating the last days of 2014. So long 2014, you were really good to us, you were the year that we welcomed our 3rd son and for that we will forever be grateful. 2015, we welcome you with open arms and are looking forward to all the blessings you have in store for us.
