Baptizing Jbird and Bean

We finally did it, we baptized our big boy Jbird and our baby Bean. We wanted hubby's parents to be there for all the children's baptism so we waited to baptize Jbird. Once they moved here we were already 6 months pregnant with Bean so we decided to wait until Bean was here and do both boys together. We picked my brothers and friends HJ and F to be godparents. I am so happy that we finally did it.

 I loved loved the cake and it was tasty too. I got it from the same place that always does my cakes, they do an awesome job and the cake is always so tasty

Hubby's parents were there :). I love that they live here with us and can now be there for every special event

And of course the boys had to ride their bikes in the afternoon, their favorite new activity since the weather is so nice. Riding a bike with your baptism gown on, wait you don't do that kind of stuff :)

We did manage to get a group picture of everyone who came to celebrate the boys' special day. I love my family and friends, they are always there to support us and our growing family

I am so happy that we finally baptized Jbird and Bean. One more thing off my list of things to do before I go back to work. 

Happy Mother's day and a party

Happy Mother's day!!! I hope you have a great day celebrating with your family today. We are just having our moms over for a late lunch and we'll all hang out with the kids.

I woke up this morning and I couldn't believe that I had 3 kids. Insanely good I tell you. I was born to be a mom and I thank God that he made that dream come true. Me and my boys this morning, a happy mother's day it is indeed.

After much bribery and corruption, he was back in the picture but it was hard to get him to pose. I love my boys and I am so lucky that they call me mom everyday. Being a mom is the toughest yet most rewarding job in the world.

Our whole family was invited to a Cameroonian event and we jumped at the opportunity to go out without the kids. My brothers and grandma all came. My mom decided to stay at home and watch the kids while we went out.

We are celebrating mother's day today with our families and I'll make sure to thank my mom and hubby's mom for being such supportive mamas. I am so glad that we got to go out without the kids, though I missed my Bean terribly it was really nice to get out without the kids.

Playdate fun with Amy and J

Last week I got two hang out with two awesome mommy bloggers. The first time I met Amy and J in real life we just clicked. After reading their blogs for years and following along their journeys, it was so nice to see that they were even more awesome in person. I am so happy that these bloggy friends have become real life friends. Though we don't get to see each other often, I thoroughly enjoy our play dates.

We met at a kid friendly place, I mean with 5 kids between us there was no other way to make this work. Thanks to my awful planning, the place didn't open for an hour so we grabbed an early dinner before play time.

I brought my mom along, she is the perfect nanny plus she met both Amy and J and enjoyed hanging out with them so she was totally game

While the kids were having fun, my Bean just slept and chilled the whole time. Such a great baby, he knows that mommy needs her hands free to take care of his brothers. I so love this kid who is getting chunkier by the day

Before we left, we attempted to take a group pic of all the mommys and babies, it was chaotic as you can expect with 5 kids 3 and under. We were left with some awesome pictures though

Tman fell asleep in the car and didn't wake up until the next day, we definitely wore him out. Jbird is a good sleeper anyway so we can't brag about him sleeping :). My mom chilling with the boys before bed time.

We had such a great time hanging out with Amy and J, we are so looking forward to the next play date. I was completely worn out after chasing the kids everywhere but it was so worth it to hang out with these two ladies. YAY for bloggy friends turned real life friends and for kids having fun with other kids :).

A day out with Thomas and a birthday celebration

My kids (well Tman really) are obsessed with Thomas the train. Every year, Thomas comes to town and it makes for a day of fun activities and hanging around trains and more importantly Thomas the train. We took the kids last year and they loved it so we decided to make this a yearly tradition until they get bored with the whole thing.

When we got there, we put the big boys in the stroller and I carried Bean. Our family of five ready to tackle the day. Luckily it was a beautiful sunny day.

They have loads of fun activities for the kids which makes for a great day of fun. My mom, hubby and the boys on the caroussel

They also had a jumpy house and Tman was in heaven. This kid loves to jump around so anything that allows him to do so is his favorite thing to do

It was an obstacle type course, gosh my first baby looks so grown up

Jbird also wanted to enjoy the bouncy house even though he was clearly too small. However, with lots of help from the staff he was able to go through the entire obstacle course. He was so happy and proud of himself

After doing the activities, it was time to go meet Thomas and take a ride aboard the train. We didn't do this last year but I made sure to buy the tickets early this year so that we could make it.

After the ride we went back inside for some story time and to unwind before we hit the road. My mom and Jbird chilling. I love that my mom is always available to hang out with us and the kids

Because it was my birthday weekend, my hubby got me an awesome cake and my brother and grandma came over when we got home to wish me happy birthday. I love my family, they are always there to celebrate every special event. Jbird was unfortunately not on these pictures because he fell asleep on the way back home and went straight to bed when we got home.

I love my family and I am so glad that they live so close so we can always hang out often

Last weekend was a busy busy weekend because of the day out with Thomas and celebrating my birthday. You know you are a parent when your birthday celebration revolves around what your kids will love. We had a great day out and that strawberry cake was so yummy. Last weekend was such a good one, hope you had a great one too.
