I was really sad at first because I just love his hair, the color, the curls and all. But I am really glad we did it in the end. Plus like hubby said, he is not a girl (implying he shouldn't have to suffer to get his hair combed every morning) and it will grow back.
So we made the trip to the barber. At first Tman did not want to have anything to do with it
Then the barber offered him some candy and he was game. It was actually pretty easy overall, Tman did not shed any tears and I was really happy with the final result.
And of course a family picture because I love when we conquer milestones as a family
My sweet pea with his big boy haircut
I am loving his curls, you can see them better now that his hair is shorter
My big boy, 2.5 years and no longer a baby. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I am still going to try to grow a fro of curls at some point but for now, I am going to enjoy this big boy haircut and how easy it is to get him ready in the morning. The first haircut was a great success.
