We do DC with our visitors

My friend Adrienne came to visit with her hubby and two kids. We love having visitors and luckily for us our friends and family always indulge :).

We decided to take them downtown DC to check out some sights and do some museums (it's free after all).

We started with the White House (a must see if you are in the DC area :))

I just love that everyone is doing something crazy in this picture

After the White House, we headed to the National History museum where we checked out dinosaurs and more. The older kids really enjoyed this museums something about recognizing some of the animals and just running around.

We also went to the Air and Space museum. T-man kept pointing at all the planes :).

  How sweet are these two
We stopped by the carousel on the national mall. The kids loved it.

By the time we had dinner in the city it was way past the kids bedtime. It was a long day but oh so fun. The kids all went straight to bed once we got home.

On Sunday we chilled around the house making crepes and just hanging out with the little ones.

I just love this pic of the kids getting busy in the kitchen, they really wanted to help
This picture is just so real, I clearly don't look made up all the time :)

Adrienne also attempted to take some maternity photos of us but T-man was not cooperating. I'll have to share those in another post.

It was such a great weekend, I wish they stayed longer. I do look forward to the next visit, we'll have 4 kids between the two of us. It's crazy we've doubled our numbers since we met 5 years ago :).

  1. We haven't been to D.C in years, looks like a great place to visit with kids.
