Happy mother's day to all the women out there holding their blessings and all of those waiting for their blessings.
Happy mother's day especially to my blog friend Kathy who just welcomed her sweet little boy Avery. Welcome to the world little one.
My mom worked so hard to provide for her 3 children yet I was such a horrible and difficult teenager to my poor mom. I couldn't wait to leave the house and be away. And then I finally realized how amazing my mom was and I never looked back. We are so close now and I am so thankful for our relationship. I now live less than 5 miles away because I want to see her everyday. I enjoy and cherish our relationship and I am now grateful to have such a great mom.
Now that I am a mother, I want to foster a great relationship with my children. I know we are going to hit some rough patches and bumps along the way but I pray that no matter what happens we love each other above all.
And because it's mother's day, here are some pictures of me and my mom from last weekend. My friend took some shots of us in our backyard and they turned out great.
Beautiful pictures! You both look great!
