Weekend fun - Let the matching begin

Now that I am back at work, we are so busy it's insane. We are slowly getting into a routine but man it feels like we have a million things to do everyday. My father was visiting from Cameroon so that kept us busy the past few weeks on top of everything else that we had going on.

Our weekends are pretty low key and will continue to be that way until we get a good handle of this 3 kids business. The most exciting thing for me was discovering that Carter's actually has clothes in sizes as small as 3 months. Needless to say I am super excited that my kids can start matching sooner this time around.

I took the boys to the mall with my dad. The coolest thing happened while we were out, this older man came to me and asked me if the boys were all mine. At that point I was thinking, here we go again another person who is going to tell me that he feels sorry for me instead of minding his own business. I smiled and said yes, all mine and he smiled and said "well Congratulations, you sure make it look good to have 3 little kids. God bless you and your family". You guys is that the sweetest comment from a perfect stranger or what. He totally made my day.

After the mall we went to my uncle's house. Bean was pooped from all that hanging out and took a little nap. I love this sweet boy of mine

After hanging out at my uncle's house we went to my parents' house before heading home. I was able to get this gem of my mom and grandma with the grandkids

Since I am back at work now, we are busy busy I tell you. Jbird goes to bed earlier than Tman so we always go upstairs together to put him down for the night. Tman loves to read stories with his brother and hang out in the room, if only he wanted to sleep in the room with his brother too.

We survived another week back at work and had an awesome weekend. I really enjoyed the long weekend and was so excited to finally put the boys in matching outfits. I got a few more matching things so there will be lots of matching going on with my boys soon. I am so happy to have 3 little boys that I can put in crazy but fun matching outfits like they were triplets. Hope you had a great weekend too.

Weekend fun - Go Arsenal

The first week back at work kicked my a**. It was so hard you guys, I am wiped. It probably didn't help that we had a super busy weekend before. We were jam packed with 2 birthday parties and even more running around. Thank goodness we are chilling and relaxing this weekend.

On Saturday, it was the final of the FA cup (something to do with soccer) and hubby's favorite team of all times, Arsenal was in the final. Hubby got our Arsenal outfit ready the night before and instructed me to make sure that everyone was wearing their outfit to support the team. They say it's not superstition if it works and we sure proved that because Arsenal won, wooohooo.

I got a pedicure and made sure that I was sporting Arsenal's colors. PS, I am loving the number on the scale too. I am within a few pounds of my goal of 135 and it feels good, wooop woop

After that beautiful victory, it was time to head out to a birthday party. In keeping with the Arsenal colors, I dressed the boys in red shirts

The next day, we had another birthday party to attend. The boys had a ball. They had a train set for the boys to play with and other fun stuff. My boys zoomed in for the train set and spent hours playing with trains

There was a bounce house in the basement and my kids loved it. They were jumping around like crazy for hours

Man, we were running around like headless chickens this past weekend. No wonder I was so tired all week. We are back to our busy ways. I will have to schedule a day of rest for each crazy day that way we have time to recuperate. The first week at work was a great success. Hope you had a great weekend too.

Last days as a stay at home mom

My maternity leave is coming to an end (insert sad face), after 3 glorious months at home with my boys, I have to rejoin the ranks of the workforce. I am excited and a little nervous at the same time. I have actually enjoyed every minute of this maternity leave. Having all 3 boys at home with me the whole time was exhausting but fun. I am going to miss spending every waking minute with my sweet boys

My little Bean is now 11 weeks and growing like a weed. Like his brother Jbird, he hates tummy time with a passion. I guess we'll have to make it a team sport and make his brothers entertain him. He is such a happy go lucky baby with a calm demeanor, we truly got lucky with him. Look who is smiling on demand now.

We've installed all 3 carseats in the minivan and I've spent the past two weeks going places with all 3 kids, what what. I love that we got a big enough car that makes getting them in and out of the car an easy task.

We went to the mall for some shopping and while we were there I let the boys get some play time, they were in heaven. After sitting in the stroller for a while it was a nice change for them to do something they wanted to do

We had a play date at our house with a friend who has 2 daughters. Our kids are just a few months apart and they all had a blast playing together and watching cartoons

I had lunch with my girlfriends and we got to catch up on life. I love these girls

We also went to Ikea to buy some furniture to use as storage for the boys' toys. Tman was loving all the open space

I let both boys run up and down the aisle for a bit and they were in heaven. My boys just love to run around everywhere

While I was chasing them all over Ikea, Bean was taking a quick nap with grandma. Such a good baby my Bean

One of the biggest thing I wanted to do while I was on maternity leave was decorate our house a bit. I discovered homegoods last year and I couldn't wait to have the time to go shopping and pick some stuff to spice up our space a bit. I bought some new pillows and lamps for the family and the living room and it completely changed those room (note my house is never this clean, ever)

We bought the furniture from Ikea to use in the playroom to put away toys. I really love the way they look and the fact that we now have somewhere to put all the toys in the playroom. I might get a few more of those for the other wall

We also got our landscaping done and I am loving the curb appeal

On mother's day Sunday, my cousin came over with her son who is Tman's age. The boys had a ball playing together all day. Check out Tman throwing and catching his goldfish, funny kid my son.

When we were attempting to take a family pic, my nephew decided to join us. I was so psyched when I found this perfect outfit for the 3 boys. I am loving that we can start the matching way sooner this time around. Our family pic on mother's day,  I guess this is what our family would look like if we have 4 boys :)

Maternity leave was awesome. The past few weeks were even better, the weather was super nice and the boys really cooperated and made my life easy. We did a lot of fun things and got everything crossed off my list that I wanted to do before I returned to work. Full time work I am now ready for you (I think).
