From this trip I learned that London and Paris are not really small children friendly. How can you have a train station without an elevator, how do you expect me to get down the stairs with two kids in a double stroller, sheesh.
The wedding was awesome. My cousin looked amazing and her day was so perfect. We had a few hiccups but overall it was perfect.
I need to get through all the pictures (I took over 2,000) so that I can tell you all about our trip. In the meantime, here are a few highlights
Downtown London with the London eye and house of parliament in the background
We went to the Arsenal stadium because my hubby is a huge fan. I got my very own Arsenal jersey, I guess I am officially an Arsenal supporter
Me and my Tman in our matching shirt. Don't you love that it says 25 July the day I officially became a Mrs? We love to get coordinated things around here
In 2009, when they were redoing the Arsenal stadium, they were selling personalized brick stones to put in front of the stadium. Hubby's sister bought us a stone for Christmas and we finally got to see it. How cool is this
We saw a lot of hubby's family and friends while we were there. I am so happy that Jbird got to meet a lot of his English family
Then we hopped on a Eurostar train to Paris
We got to Paris and were busy with wedding stuff. My brother and cousins met with us in Paris for the wedding
We went to the Eiffel tower of course
Then it was wedding stuff. The wedding was absolutely beautiful despite the rain and the cold weather
With my brother and cousins
My kids were such troopers, luckily for us they napped everywhere as needed. I am so glad I purchased my McClarren double stroller before I left. The big stroller would have been such a pain while this stroller was perfect and could fit through a normal doorwhile still allowing the kids to nap everywhere

Can't wait to hear the stories in detail. Looks like you had a blast. You looked amazing in the dress you wore to the wedding.
ReplyDeleteLove the family picture at the Eiffel tower. Everyone is smiling :)
Welcome back! Looks like so much fun! You looked great in your dress by the way. Looking forward to reading about your trip.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the lack of elevators in train stations. I honestly, never even thought of it...most likely cause I have never traveled with a baby. We will have to try to figure that one out for when we go to the Netherlands/Germany later on in the summer.
