Hanging out with my cousins

My cousins were in town from England this holiday season, what a treat. We don't usually get to hang out with them during the holidays so it was really nice to have them this year. Since they were in town we decided to visit even more cousins. They've met Tman already but had never had a chance to meet Jbird yet. My grandma was really in heaven as she got to spend a lot of time with many of her grandchildren. I've compiled a variety of pictures that we took the past 3 weeks while they were here.

My grandma was so happy that we all got to spend Christmas together this year. She was smiling ear to ear the whole time

The last time we hung out together during the Christmas holiday season was when Tman was a little baby and we were in London, check out the difference 2 years make.

It's the little things in life that make it all worth it. Hanging out at home with our cousins last Christmas holiday was definitely the highlight of our holiday season. I can't wait to hang out with them again when we are in London in May. YAY. This holiday season was definitely one to remember.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. What a great NYE celebration we had. The hubby and I just planned to spend the night in front of the TV after we put the kids down, however his sister and boyfriend wanted to go out and do something fun (young DINKs I tell you). They won the going out battle because they are visiting and my in-laws volunteered to watch the kids.

We decided that we would go to a bar and get our drink on. We were lucky to find a bar with a dance floor that didn't charge a cover, pretty impressive for NYE. We got dolled up (the girls at least) and out we went.

The party started in the car. We played some loud music and totally sang along :)

Then the ball  dropped and we welcomed the new year with a kiss

There was a lot more drinking because the boys wanted to be drunk before doing any dancing. The girls got silly with money as you do.

Then we got on the dance floor. Well, my hubby refused to get on the dance floor but his sister, J and I were determined to dance so we did. J was hilarious, we died laughing over his moves

Outside the bar there was a nicely decorated tree and of course we had to get a picture in front of it

We had a great time ringing in the new year with hubby's sister and her boyfriend. I am so glad they convinced us to go out. We might be parents but we are clearly still loads of fun. I am still recuperating from that night out but it was well worth it.

Sunday game day

Our Redskins did an amazing job this past Sunday. Ahhhh we are going to the playoffs. I am so happy. Clearly 2013 is looking to be pretty good right now :). We hosted a game party and it was a great success. Our friends from Indiana were in town as well as my friend Melissa. My brothers came over as usual and a few of our friends that live locally. We definitely had a full house and a great time was had by all.

 We tried to take a picture with our boys but they weren't cooperating so we decided to try again later

Jbird and Zach with my grandma. She just wanted to hang out with the babies and we did not mind at all because that meant we could mingle and drink the night away. I love this woman and we are so lucky that she is so strong and here with us today.

Tman and Jason hung out and played a lot together. They have so much fun together now that they are bigger. I love that they play together now instead of sitting next to each other :)

We tried another picture with our boys and we got something decent, love it. Can't believe this is our 3rd Christmas celebration with these big babies. Blessed indeed.

Then we let the boys jump on the couch as a reward for sitting through a photoshoot :). This is Tman's favorite thing to do. Now you see why we had to get him a trampoline

We attempted a picture with both kids each and that did not happen. The big boys were just too busy playing to join us. Oh well, I still love this pic. How do we have 6 kids between the 3 of us, wow, just wow.

C and I hung out a lot all evening. We don't get to see each other enough these days so we have to take it wherever we can get it.

What a great game day Sunday. The party was a hit, we had the best time hanging out with our close friends and family, and best of all our Redskins won. Sweetness, we are going to the playoffs, YAY. I had to work the next day and was hurting like crazy. Luckily this is a short week. Bring it 2013, we are ready for you. Hope you all had a great Sunday game day too.
