Swimming with the boys

I am an avid swimmer and absolutely love water. It's no surprise that my kids also love water. We were waiting for the weather to be warmer before we took some swim lessons with the boys. Frankly I just wanted to get the kids feet in the water and get them familiar with it. We did it with Tman and it was about time we got Jbird in the pool.

We took both boys to the pool for the class and we all had a blast. Tman loves the water so it was no surprise that he wanted to stay forever and a day. Jbird was a total natural, you would have thought that he did this before. It was great. I am really happy that we finally did it.

My happy boy was loving the water
And so was his brother. Tman was kicking away and was so proud of himself
Me and my baby chilling in the pool :)
Tman was in heaven, pool time is definitely going to be a must in our household
 Tman chilling on his back
Encouraging Jbird to make some moves
A sweet father and son moment after hubby caught Tman after his jump
I caught a jump too, Tman was in heaven the whole time
Oh yeah, Jbird got to jump too
And before we left, I made sure to get a family picture. Tman was not happy, he just wanted to go back to jumping
Swimming as a family of four was a great success. The boys loved it and we definitely loved it too. I am glad we have 5 more mommy/daddy and me classes on our calendar. Next thing I want to do is take the kids to a splash park.

  1. I think that's so awesome that you are comfortable in the water and can teach your child the same thing. People in our family actually can't swim. Only my dad can!!

  2. Haha tman's face in the last picture, I love it!! That is a really great family photo, tman's expression just makes it that much better!

I can't wait to take Tavi to mommy and me swimming classes, I hope she enjoys the pool as much as your little guys do :)

  3. I am so not a swimmer but I believe that all kids should learn when they are younger! They so look like they are having such a good time, and tmans face--lol!

  4. This is awesome. I can't swim :(. But I also think its important for kiddos to learn when still young. They looks so happy in the pool. So do you.

  5. How fun!!! I absolutely love swimming and love the water too. My husband could take it or leave I'm hoping to get our little girl into swimming!!

  6. I'm definitely a water baby! I guess it comes with growing up on an island!the last shot is really nice.

  7. Yahhh for swimming and love that the boys could do it together!! We are enjoying swimming over here too:-)

  8. Aww Water Babies! I love it! It looks like you guys had fun. I'm still trying to convince Ian that water is fun but eventually we will make our way to the pool

  9. So fun! I'm not a great swimmer at all but Sean is a fish! Hopefully our future kiddos are water babies because of him.

    Love that last picture!!

  10. They seem to really love being in the water. Gotta get Princess back to lessons.
