Florida - Universal Studio

Our first adventure with theme parks was at Universal Studios. Hubby's mom and cousin joined us for this day of fun at the park

We got there bright and early because we wanted to get on the Harry Potter ride without waiting forever. We still had to wait because it is such a popular ride.

We enjoyed some butterbeer (no alcohol at all but a nice cold drink) after the ride
Watched a Pirate show (so entertaining)

Tackle a few more rides including the Spider man ride. It was probably the best ride of the day so we went back for seconds

This shirt makes my belly look much bigger than it actually is and I love it :)

It was such a fun day. Hubby's cousins met us later at Bubba Gump for diner. T-man had a nice day with them and we got to enjoy some adult rides.

We will be back Universal when our baby is big enough to enjoy all the rides and fun you have to offer.

Florida

We are back from Florida, what a great vacation. I wish we could have stayed a few more days.

The weather was perfect, 85 and sunny with a little breeze pretty much everyday. You can't beat that. We were in the pool everyday, my T-man loves water and I am so happy about that. I hope he is a swimmer like me someday.

We did so many fun stuff, went to the Magic Kingdom (of course), Universal Studio, the beach, an Orlando Magic game, hung out with the family, played lots of cards, and just soaked up the sun. It was grand :).

I will have to do a separate post for the day at Universal and Disney World. Here are some shots of the vacation.

We started taking pictures on the plane (we love self portrait, not sure how we are going to manage that when bebe deux comes around but I digress).

The day we went to Universal, T-man stayed with the family and played in the pool all day.

We went to Merritt beach for the day while the boys went to the Space Center. T-man had so much fun with destroying sand castle and getting wet

We went shopping one of the days then went to an Orlando Magic game. The game was awesome and by the way Beyonce and Jay Z were there too :).

We chilled by the pool most days because it was just that nice

We also took a lot of random pictures

This was such a great trip. I am definitely going back to Florida :)

We're halfway there...whooah...living on a prayer

Thank you Jon Bon Jovi for those great lyrics. They are so appropriate for me right now :).

We are 20 weeks...woop woop. I have no more than 22 weeks (expecting this little one to be late like his brother) until i get to hold my little boy. Grow baby grow.

We had our anatomy scan yesterday and everything looks good. Baby is healthy and growing and I am one happy momma. I am loving everything about this pregnancy, the growing baby and belly as well as the kicking baby are my favorite . I am missing nothing at all. I am having another great pregnancy (I know, I am one of those woman you just want to kill).

Onto the belly picture. I had to share this front view of the pic, I just love that the belly finally popped
A side view of the belly with my second boy at 20 weeks
And just for comparison sake, here I am at 20 weeks with my first boy. The bellies look the same to me

In other great news, we are on our way to Disney World for a week. Hubby's cousins who live in Canada go there every year for Spring break and we decided to "crash" their party this year. They rented a villa 10 minutes outside of Disney World, talk about making it convenient. I am looking forward to the break and the time with family. I will be back with loads of pics of course.

I told you we don't take breaks around here. We are a non stop kind of family. I think with the arrival of baby number two we'll have to make some changes.

NYC is always in

I feel like we just went to NYC and here we are back again. Everyone that comes from overseas wants to go to NYC and living somewhat close makes it so we always have to indulge.

Anyway, my sister in law and her boyfriend were in town and they really wanted to go to NYC. We did the typical NYC for the day, wake up super early, catch the bus, spend the day sightseeing and sleep on the bus back.

The boyfriend's brother was actually in NYC too so that was even more of an adventure.

We checked out the 911 memorial (very nicely done by the way)

Then we had lunch at a nice restaurant that we found by accident, will definitely go back next time we are in NYC.
The St Patrick's day parade was going on all day making 5th avenue so difficult to access. Such a pain. We manage to go to FAO Schwartz though.

We then went to Times Square, gotta go there if you are in NYC

It was such a good trip. We were all so tired by the end of the day after walking around for more than 8 hours on very little sleep. So long NYC until next time.
